Pesto Chicken Pastéa - Pastéa

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g Pastéa
  • 400 g chicken breast
  • 30 cl reduced-fat double cream
  • 1 jar Pesto alla Genovese (or homemade pesto)
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • Salt and pepper.

STEP 1

Bring a pot of water to a boil for the pasta.

STEP 2

Dice the chicken breasts and sear the chunks in olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Do not scorch!

STEP 3

Reduce heat to low, add salt, pepper and pesto. Stir, then add the cream.

STEP 4

Simmer 10 minutes while pasta is boiling in the water with a pinch of salt.

STEP 5

When the pasta is ready, drain and toss with the chicken-pesto mixture.
